Wildcat Mountain Vineyard

Wildcat Mountain is our Sonoma Coast source.  These mountain grapes have broad shoulders- richness, weight, velvety tannins, and a ripe dark fruit profile.  Indulging our proclivity for grapes farmed in minivan impassable pockets, Wildcat Mountain embraces 58 acres of austere pastureland now planted to syrah, chard, and pinot noir.  On a clear day, the vista stretches out to San Pablo Bay.  You can even make out the trail of engine fluid weeping from my car.  Planted on spartan volcanic soil and ruffled by costal wind, these pinot vines work extra hard to ripen low yielding, intense bunches of fruit.  It makes for insanely yummy juice.  Our neighbor famously told me, “Just don’t f%$#CK it up, Kerith.”
