Bruliam Gets Legal

In an upcoming post, I’ll be regaling you with the enthralling story of winery compliance and state and federal registration.  In the interim, we thought you’d all enjoy seeing this fabulous sign which is legally required to hang right outside our front door for the next 30-days in order to register our home office.

And for those of you who might be curious, the answer is yes – the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has already come out to make sure it’s being properly displayed for all to see.

Thankfully we have understanding neighbors….

First, a confession. I already have a Bruliam t-shirt, thanks to my buddy, Alexis. I wear it to the gym, and my personal trainer wants me to get another one. Here’s why: the Bruliam logo on the chest is terrific for me to use in the mirror when I am working on certain exercises that seek to isolate upper body motion. We can quickly tell if I am keeping my torso straight, left to right; and when I do twists, it helps me visually ensure that I am twisting, not using my hips and legs to turn. For you jocks (Alexis, again), this probably sounds dumb. But when you are a 58-year-old fattish red-wino, you need every bit of help you can get. So, thanks, Bruliam. And please do mail me another shirt, as Brian Blair (my trainer) says the other one gets stinky if it don’t get it washed often enough.

    Your fan, Bob.

Very happy to see that our Bruliam t-shirts are being put to productive use. As a couple of aging wanna-be athletes, we’re all for using whatever tools and motivation you need to pull through the workout. Personally, I like to track my calorie burn and then fantasize about what I get to eat to make up for what I’ve lost. We’ll be happy to send you a new shirt – and one for your trainer on one condition: you need to send us back a picture of yourself in the shirt for the website!! You might even win $250 for the charity of your choice.

    Thanks again for the support!
