		<description>Wow. I just did a Google search for anything that would tell me who exactly this lovely wine label depicts. Your post is by far the most thorough and educational (and not boring). And yes, it definitely does strike me as a conflict of interest that Saint Urban is also invoked against alcoholism...lol. Poor guy must be confused.

A former Catholic myself, I know all about patron saints being assigned to nearly every industry, type of person, or thing. Some of them are indeed multi-taskers, as is the case with Saint Urban.

I tried the 2007 Knoll Gruner Veltliner during a wine tasting at the Austrian Consulate General in NYC recently. Full citrus with tropical fruit and a peppery finish. Delicious.

I enjoyed reading this post and will be back for more. You definitely have a witty, humorous writing style. This quote in particular cracked me up (I&#039;ve got to share it with my &quot;chosen&quot; buds. I&#039;m sure there will be wry smiles and knowing nods among them) :

&quot;Being Jewish, I felt severely disadvantaged: Jesus doesn’t feed me the answers; I have to study instead. &quot;
