Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project was started by a wounded vet to help other wounded vets.  They teach amputees to ski, play golf, or compete in road races.  Their efforts raise morale, empower wounded veterans, and set our heroes on the road to recovery, mentally and physically.  Visit:  Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project is the most heartfelt thing I have ever done. I teach skiing in the Adaptive Ski program at Waterville Valley, NH. When the wounded soldiers and their families come to ski or snowboard with us each March it is the most emotional weekend all season. These young men and women, who have been severely injured fighting for our freedom , are so grateful for the opportunity to have some fun on the slopes. They are so thankful and appreciative of this weekend…it brings tears to my eyes. I was blessed to have been able to help them and they were thanking me. Words cannot describe it….you are doing a wonderful thing by supporting this worthy cause. Thank you!
